My diaper bag has taken on many forms over the last year and a half. It was first used to carry all my nursing supplies (extra booby pads, anyone?) while I was nursing, and then it transformed to a formula and bottle bag (with all the extra goodies thrown in). Now, we are done with the formula, and the boobies, but we still carry the diaper bag. I actually wrote a non-sponsored blog post about my perfect diaper bag that you can read if you’re in the market for an infant thru toddler one (and yes, I wrote it out of pure admiration and affection with no compensation because I truly loved it!).
As amazing as my diaper bag was, I left a sippy cup full of apple juice in it, turned upside down, and it leaked all into my diaper bag. It was soaked into the material. For an entire two days, it sat in my car, soaking and fermenting in its apple juice yuck and funk. I haven’t really been driving anywhere this summer, because we have a lot of fun at the house. But it came time to run some errands….so, I opened the car door…and could not believe what I found. I mean, I could, because I have the worst #MOMBRAIN there ever was. And at some point, I must have put the cup in my bag without thinking. But there was no saving it. Just…no. SO, I had to throw it out, and get a new one.
